I was just talking to a friend who recently visited. She has an 11 year old daughter that loved it when we were 'booed'. We put the sign in our window and made treats and then booed 3 other neighbors. She said she wanted to go home and do it in her neighborhood.
I guess she was talking with her friends about starting such a tradition. Her idea was, "You've been clucked by a grateful turkey." Maybe you have to know this funny kid to appreciate it. I just laughed and laughed when my friend told me.
